Mosaics by Mary Dosch

Mary has re-focused some of her pottery & glass skills to create several mosaics.  Using glass tiles, stained glass and ceramic tiles she creates, she has done several large public art installations in the area, both interior and exterior.

Mary will work with businesses, groups and organizations, seeking their creative ideas and hands-on assistance to create an artwork that expresses their “mission” and personality.  The mosaic becomes a great “team-building” project.

Mary’s 2014 mosaic is a large (15×5 ft.) project done with Shell Lake fifth and sixth graders during the winter of 2014.  It was installed in May, 2014 in the Shell Lake Post Office.

Based on drawings by the children, Mary’s design depicts Shell Lake through the seasons.
